NHA AGM/Conference 2018 Announced

NHA Party AGM & Conference

11:00 - 16:00, Saturday 10th November 2018, London Irish Centre, Camden, London
The National Health Action Party would like to invite all our members and supporters to our 2018 AGM and conference.

AGM - open to party members and associates, who are asked to register by booking a free ticket, valid for both the AGM and conference.

Conference - non-members welcome, admission by prebooked ticket only. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of £5 - £10 to help cover lunch and venue costs.

Speakers:

  • Dr Phil Hammond - A doctor, journalist, broadcaster, campaigner and comedian, Phil Hammond has been endorsed as NHA Party PPC for North East Somerset. Phil qualified as a GP in 1991 and currently works in a specialist NHS centre for children and adolescents with chronic fatigue syndrome/ME. Phil has been Private Eye’s medical correspondent since 1992.
  • Susan Ryland - co-editor of 'A New Way of Doing Politics: Working together to challenge a "safe" Tory seat', regarding the 2017 cross-party campaign to unseat Jeremy Hunt. Susan was the 2015 Green Party candidate who stood down to back the progressive alliance supporting Dr Louise Irvine in that campaign. She is an artist, researcher, political activist, and vice-chair of SW Surrey Compass.
  • Peter Roderick - a barrister and principal research associate at the Institute of Health and Society, University of Newcastle. Expert on health law and human rights. With Professor Allyson Pollock he is co-author of the NHS Reinstatement Bill.
